Top 5 Posts From My Last 100 On BruceMarler.com
Well I was sitting here looking at my Wordpress admin panel wondering what to write today, there about 50 ideas swirling around and thenĀ I looked at my post number and it was 199 which means this is post #200. I got from 100 to 200 much faster than 1 to 100. I had just told Morgan last week when I hit each increment of 100 I would do a review of the last 100 posts and pick out my 5 favorites as a review so here we go, my top 5 posts from the last 100 I did:
Open Letter To Small Business Owners - This one has really done wonders since I posted it, this has become standard marketing material for us, albeit in a cleaned up form. I also have new customers who found it through various searches online and then contacted us.
Buying Domain Names For Investment Vs. Development - This post was inspired buy a conversation I had with a good friend about the thought process I go through when buying a name. Sometimes I have to where domainer hat, other days it is a developer hat.
Focus On What Could Be And Not What Is - This post is all about focusing on what the possibilities of a development or domain name is and not what you see right now, in otherwords focus on the what the business could be instead of just the name.
Why Small Business Should Advertise During Bad Times - This was inspired after seeing a local business start booming after they started spending on promotion rather than holding everything back due to the economy. There business is still booming BTW.
Stop Blaming The End Users It Is A Domain Industry Problem - OK, so obviously I knew the post would get some attention but not as much as it did, I am STILL getting questions and comments about it. Whether you agree with me or not the conversation that ensued in various places was very good and brought up new issues and concepts of promotion for the industry. Read the 50 plus comments and the post if you have not, the post is not so much mine anymore , there is a ton of info in the comments alone.
Well there they are. Thanks for continuing to read.
