As a few others have posted as well our friends in the Philippines are currently facing tough times with an extremely devastating Typhoon Ketsana wreaked havoc on the nation. They now are facing yet another strong Typhoon named Pepeng (Parma) that may hit tonight or Saturday. Pepeng is reportedly as strong as Hurricane Katrina was in the US before it made landfall in New Orleans.

Hundreds of people have died and hundreds of houses have been destroyed after the flooding from the first storm and the second storm is on its way, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and please support them by donating at the Philippines Red Cross.

Thanks to TechFilipino for sending a note with the information and we wish him the best during this ordeal.
