My Google Adsense Revenues Showing Signs Of Life

Today while reading the post at TheDomains about Google declaring the recession in Ad revenues over I was reminded of a post I was meaning to do last week but never came back around too. I have noticed over the past few weeks my Adsense revenues have been looking up. My traffic overall has not significantly increased on any of the names (until yesterday but thats another story).
While I will not shoot out specific numbers I noticed that on sites that were receiving clicks in the 30 cent range a few months back I am now looking closer to 70 cents on average which is close to on par with numbers mid-2008 on the same sites. That is a significant jump. If it was just one site I would not think too much about it but its over several sites.
I cannot say I have done any indepth spreadsheet analysis of this, not enough time to do all of that, but I can say that I compared enough of the numbers to notice a shift.
I don't think this necessarily is Google being nice and letting me have more:) But I do think there is a chance some sectors are starting to recover and the comments by Google CEO Eric Schmidt today quoted on TheDomains.com may be the first sign of a bit more money coming back to PPC.
Are any of you seeing the same? I thought it interesting to see that story today and have noticed a rise in earnings lately.

I have also seen a little jump in my earnings just like 10 cents or so but they are on the way back up hopefully.
i’ve noticed more 1$+ clicks lately, hopefully it continues.
@RJB Agreed! I do not want to get my hopes up to much but if I look at the past few weeks so far things have been consistent.
Good to hear Bruce – I’m definitely seeing the same thing myself. Seeing a lot of clicks in the $0.50 – $0.75 range on a lot of my sites.
Annoyingly i have a very small niche site paying about $0.85 per click and another big niche site paying $0.01 per click. I have not seen any major increases recently but hope to soon.
Its great one of the sites is getting about $0.85 per click just wish the other site was getting as much. Maybe soon!
Glad to see we’re all making a little extra money. Yea,I’ve noticed some big jumps on a few days, but overall some steady improvement on the AdSense front… and some decent increases some days at Parked.com as well.
@John Nice to hear on the Parked from for you too John. BTW your avatar cracks me up!
@James – Are they close to the same niche , could just be a bit of content optimization needed to focus the ads towards the higher paying ads then. Just a thought.
There are some many levers google can pull you never know what they are doing.
I added a few very high quality sites to my account recently and noticed all my earnings rise a bit. One of my theories is that they have a formula to judge the overall quality of an account, how “spammy” it is etc and they allow the earnings to reflect that.
I agree I have seen a spike in earnings per click since the end of the summer.
