Minisites Looking Good After Google Pagerank Update
Filed under: Developed Sites, Domain Development, Domain News, Tech News
My Wordpress Minisites and other Minisite types seemed to of fared rather well during this weeks Google Pagerank Update.
Overall the Pagerank results are definitely more positive than negative and with this I have seen an increase in traffic for targeted keywords to many of my minisites. Here are several that came out looking good:
HotTubs.net did not increase in Google Pagerank but did get a traffic bump this week for ranking well on various related keywords. The rest of the list above went from pagerank 0 or 1 to Pagerank 3.
Overall I have also noticed that many of my sites may of stayed the same on pagerank but keyword driven traffic that I have been fighting for has increased measurably over the past week or so.
Now hoping a few of my newer sites like Math Book, Cayenne Pepper and Glucomannan start showing even stronger results.
Make sure you check your sites, both in SERPS and Google Pagerank, you might just find good news.

Nice job, your sites look great, how are the earnings? Also how many articles are you putting on each site and do you do it all at once or like one every few days?
Best of luck
Brian
Brian,
Everyone of them has some revenue, the newer ones less than the ones that have been up for several months to a year but luckily all are trending in the right direction, UP!
Most of the sites have somewhere between 5 and 15 pages, there are a couple that have only a few pages.
As far as do I do the content all at once or over a few days. It really is dependent on my travel schedule or if I am the one that is building the site. I prefer to do it over a few days to a couple weeks but on occasion do it all at once.
Thank you for sharing this information. It is helpful AND interesting to see domainers’ actual examples of developed sites. Glad that traffic and revenue are on the up!
Jeff,
Thanks, My goal is at the end of the day to be as transparent as possible with my results, etc. I think their is alot of snake oil being sold out there. I actually plan on doing something soon that will really shock people, actually show sites that were NOT successful:)
Bruce
Those are some of the best looking mini sites I have seen in a long time. Are they Word Press? Was thinking about buying XSite Pro. Any thoughts?
Best of luck.
Most of these are wordpress. I do own XSite Pro, looks like it could be useful but to be honest I have honed my wordpress process to be so easily deployable I find myself not using XSite Pro but have thought a bit recently about giving it a shot.
I will be posting something later this week about the quick Wordpress Site turnup process.
Congratulation Bruce!
Hope I’ll get my first PR soon
Keep sharing.
congrats for your minisites ! all of them are similiar, are you using same templates or ?
Some of them use the same template, others are built unique by various minisite companies, depends on the name and time in a day I have:)
