Domainer Mardi Gras Here I Come! Show Me The Money!

Well it is official, I will be attending Domainer Mardi Gras where I will be sitting on the opening panel with Chef Patrick and Sean Stafford of

The panel name is Show Me The Money here is a quote from the Domainer Mardi Gras site describing the session:

Domainer Mardi Gras 2010 is focusing on new revenue opportunities in the domain industry and to jumpstart the show, hear from 3 young professionals making a splash in the industry and having success at the same time.   Join us for a refreshing conversation on unconventional techniques to build businesses on your domain assets.

I am really looking forward to this, I expect this to be a pretty exciting discussion between ourselves and the crowd. Patrick is always a good time and a good friend so this ought to be interesting as always. I appreciate the invitation by the Domainer Mardi Gras team and specifically Michael Ward for reaching out and giving me the opportunity.

In my 10+ years of running an internet company, we have never garnered more than 3% of our total revenue from PPC. I’ve never understood the PPC bandwagon. Even new business partners who join me preaching the power of PPC are quickly converted to a new line of thinking. I would suggest any domainer who wants to become a developer to view PPC as a way to get office rent – not a path to building a successful internet venture

Bruce — Thanks for accepting the invitation. This panel is the first panel to kickoff the conference so am excited about it setting the tone for the 3 day event.

Acro (Filos) :-) — ‘Show Me The Money’ will be discussed extensively at Domainer Mardi Gras 2010 – as much as 72 hours straight for those who can last that long. I believe there were a couple attendees from last year who took advantage of the 24-7 networking opportunities. Make the trip over — I think you will be glad you did and it will be good to see you again.

That’s great, maybe Parked needs to “show us the money” and do something about the dwindling PPC rates!
