When Bruce Marler begs, the world heeds. We are going to investigate into the matter and create a mobile interface to NameJet.Com. Or SnapNames.Com. Or - what the heck!? - both of them. ...

It's an interesting idea and a challenge for our company. If you could describe in details what are the use cases/scenarios you expect with NameJet and SnapNames on your mobile device, we could quickly come up with a solution. We have no expertise in domaining, and your explanations would be of great use.

Not saying there is no value in .mobi (we have seen several large brands use it), but why not have the site recognize that you are coming from a mobile browser and automatically display the properly formatted site? Like domaining.com for instance?

Hello Bruce,

Yes, none of the domain auction services provide an interface for mobile phones.
In fact some services do not even correctly works with IE.

Programmers still have work and I share with you that the support of mobiles will be a great addition for the auction sites but also the domain marketplaces.

Just this past week I fixed myself a glich to can display most domaining.com pages in iPhones without having to zoom, I will continue to fix the others pages to fully support this expanding media.
